Clifford Williams teaches philosophy at Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois. He graduated from Wheaton College with a B.A. and from Indiana University with a Ph.D. He is the author of Existential Reasons for Belief in God: A Defense of Desires and Emotions for Faith (IVP Academic) and The Life of the Mind: A Christian Perspective (Baker Academic), and editor of Personal Virtues: Introductory Essays (Palgrave-Macmillan) and On Love and Friendship: Philosophical Readings (Jones & Bartlett). His articles have appeared in Religious Studies, International Journal for the Philosophy of Religion, The Philosophical Quarterly, Philosophy and Phenomenological Studies, plus other journals.
