Joseph N. Partain, PhD

Joseph Partain is an adjunct professor of philosophy at Belmont University. After serving in the pastorate for twelve years, he returned to school in preparation for teaching philosophy. He holds a B.S. in philosophy and English from Belmont University (1992), as well as an M.A. and Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University (2002). He was assistant professor of philosophy at Covenant College (Lookout Mountain, GA) from 2002-2008. After that, he did adjunct teaching for Oaks Academy (2009-2011), Charles Tindley Accelerated College Prep School (2009-2011), and Crossroads Bible College (2010-2011) in Indianapolis, IN.
