Greg R. Jesson, PhD

Greg Jesson's long journey from Los Angeles to Iowa has taken him from UCLA and USC, to L'Abri in Switzerland, and finally to the University of Iowa. He has published articles on the nature of thought and knowledge, philosophy of mathematics, and the portrayal of love and sex in modern film. He has taught at several colleges, and lectured widely in America and Europe. He has done the Veritas Forum at Stanford University, the University of California at Santa Cruz, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Last winter he was invited to speak at the Pentagon. The title of his lecture was "The Barbarians are Inside the Gate: Relativism Undermining Character and Leadership." His Ontology and Analysis book was reviewed in the Notre Dame Philosophical Review.
