R. Daniel Dake is currently a candidate for a M.A. in Philosophy of Religion at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Presently, Dan’s research includes an exploration into medieval theories of the atonement, Athanasius' construal of God’s freedom in relation to the atonement, and a Swinburnian account of moral responsibility. In addition to the essay in Christ-Shaped Philosophy, Dan will be constructing a sequel essay demonstrating how Paul Moser's earlier work in Knowledge and Evidence crucially undergirds his later work in religious epistemology.
