Marylin McCord Adams, PhD
Distinguished Research Professor of Philosophy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Marilyn McCord Adams has taught philosophy and theology at several schools including UCLA, Yale Divinity School, and Oxford University where she was Regius Professor of Divinity. She specializes in medieval and philosophical theology. Her books include: ,em>William Ockham; Horrendous Evils and the Goodness of God; Christ and Horrors: The Coherence of Christology; and Some Later Medieval Theories of the Eucharist. She is an Episcopal priest, and has also published a book of sermons (Wrestling for Blessing) and a book of prayers (Opening to God: Childlike Prayers for Adults).
