Richard Weikart is professor of modern European history at California State University, Stanislaus. He has written four books and numerous essays, mostly on the history of social Darwinism, eugenics, and bioethics. He has been invited to speak at over a dozen universities, not only in the US, but also in the UK and Germany. He has appeared in three documentaries, including Expelled with Ben Stein. He expects to complete two book manuscripts in 2014: The Death of Humanity: Are You a Cosmic Accident?, which will explore and critique the erosion of the Judeo-Christian sanctity-of-life ethic by various secular ideologies since the Enlightenment; and Hitler's Religion.
