James S. Spiegel, Professor of Philosophy and Religion at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. His scholarly interests include ethics, aesthetics, and philosophy of religion. Spiegel has published dozens of scholarly articles, and his books include Hypocrisy: Moral Fraud and Other Vices (Baker, 1999), How to Be Good in a World Gone Bad (2004), and The Benefits of Providence (2005). He also co-edited (with Doug Geivett) Faith, Film and Philosophy: Big Ideas on the Big Screen (InterVarsity, 2007).
